What is Poshmark?

Haven't heard about Poshmark? Well read on for some more information about one of the apps changing how people buy and sell fashion as well as home decor!

First, what exactly is Poshmark? Poshmark is an app where people from the US and Canada can buy and sell clothes at less than retail prices. On Poshmark you can find a wide variety of closets. Some closets only sell things from their personal closets, some sell items that they've thrifted or gotten from liquidations, others are full-blown boutiques with items from wholesale markets! Since I am more versed in selling clothes that's what I'll be focusing on but just know that you can put things like rugs. dishware, etc on Poshmark to sell as well.

Want to be a Seller?

Great! There are so many options you have if you want to sell items. You can sell your old gently used clothes at prices that you set. This can be done on desktop or in the Poshmark app itself. Many people have even turned Poshmark into a full-time business and go and thrift around their area and find gems to re-sell.

Since there is a lot that goes into being a seller, as well as the different types of methods of re-selling, I'll keep this part relatively short and write another detailed post about the ins and outs of re-selling later. Want to be a Buyer?

That's great too! All you have to do to be a buyer is have a poshmark account. Sign up for one and you're all set. You can then use the search bar to look for any and everything.

Edited: You can also purchase from Poshmark with a guest account. This happens if you search for something from somewhere like Google. If you clock on a link and it happens to be from Poshmark, it'll take you to that listing. When you click on purchase you'll be asked if you want to create an account, if you choose not to then you'll just check out as a guest.
